Easy Preparation
SOAK: Rinse thoroughly and soak in water for 6–8 hours or overnight. Soaking can help reduce cooking time.
SIMMER: Drain and rinse. Place in a pot and cover with approximately 2 inches of fresh water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 60–90 minutes or until tender.
